This guy’s level of assclownery is stupendous. He makes Matusow look like a diplomatic genius. What a ‘tard.

  3. Brent on October 26th, 2007 5:00 pm

    what an arrogent prick.

  4. brad on October 26th, 2007 5:19 pm

tony g is an idiot on full display here…not a good player and makes fun of him for overplaying KJ? how about A2? shoulda beat that fat goof down but i’m sure there will be more opportunities to laugh at (not with) tony in the future. can’t wait.

  5. brian on October 31st, 2007 7:18 am

i woulda punched tony g right in his ugly face

  6. Nicholas Schuck on November 4th, 2007 4:24 pm

He is disgrace to himself, most importantly to the game. His A2 to kj id rather have the kj, evidently not in that situation, however in the long run kj much better hand than A2. Guess id have to be there to know what i would say, however Tony G should be accompanied to the parkn lot for his health’s sake!

I’ve never seen either of those guys, so I’m not a fan of either. I think it was pretty d**k how Tony kept rubbing it in. With that said, I TOTALLY AGREE with him! Perry played it horrendous. Calling his stack off with K-J? So bad.

  8. chris on November 27th, 2007 12:56 pm

tony g is racist, immature, and totally classless… surely the worst possible way one could behave in such a situation especially considering he did not even get bad beat. tony g is the epitome of an asshole and could not have possibly made himself look worse at the table

  9. chris on November 27th, 2007 12:58 pm

    totally unprofessional

  10. chris on November 27th, 2007 1:01 pm

what impresses me is how well the other player took it

  11. Adam.S on November 28th, 2007 7:01 pm

If i bet and im reraised all in and i got kJ cumone its rubbish u cant call with a KJ for all your chips!!!!! he deserved it aussie aussie aussie.

  12. MIke Mulls on December 3rd, 2007 3:38 pm

Nick Schuck you are so dumb if you think k j is a better hand than A 2, you have 3 kings and 3 jacks in the deck and have to pair and when that doesn’t happen ace high wins like in this hand. He just totally outplayed him and made the russian think he was bluffing. Horrible play by the guy with K J and i think Tony G is an azzhole but i can’t help but laugh

  13. derek on December 4th, 2007 9:38 am

You cant really say he shouldn’t have called K J being raised all in like that. The way that ass clown was acting I’d of put him on a weak hand and called myself. Mind you I would need to see more then 1 hand to say that with 100% conviction.

I wish the Russian sucked out on the river, how hilarious would that have been.

  14. hendrie on December 9th, 2007 8:31 am

i think both players made terrible play. both they wager their complete stack with average cards!

  15. blackchipahoys on December 10th, 2007 3:23 pm

Tony is an ass. It is one thing to abuse a man and put him on tilt but Tony spewed crap long after the man had been knocked out. Tony is a lowlife

  16. wondering on December 13th, 2007 2:13 pm

it’s obvious tony g is trying to send a message to the other players at the table that he will not be pushed around by anyone.

what is not obvious to tony g is that his over the top all in was enough to send that message.

the verbal abuse, taunts and namecalling…that didn’t affect anyone’s decisions later in the match if you watch the whole thing.

in fact, i think the only thing it did do was to give the other player enough information to know that tony g held a mediocre hand…thus his call of the all-in steal attempt.

still, i don’t like either play, but would argue that tony g’s all in steal attempt was a lot better than the call that came after it.

  17. Derek on December 22nd, 2007 10:31 am

to all you idiots. lets get one thing straight ace anything 60% king jack 40% now if u call a re raise all in with KJ i dont care who u are it is a dum ass play and Tony G had a perfect reason to brag because that was a completey stupid call as he says it “putting all his money in with kj”

  18. skyflyhi on December 26th, 2007 4:17 pm

Well, after Tonys all in there were 1.600.000 live Chips in the pot, so Perry had to pay his last 600.000 Chips. That means, that he needed 37,5%.
    So the Call is OK.

Another thing is the prize structure at that SNG. I don’t know, maybe Tony is right: No Call. ;)

A real genius that Tony G. And a beuatiful person. Will finish at hell sonner or later.

  19. Molon Labe on January 1st, 2008 2:26 pm

I ran a simulation with 4 players dealt 5 million hands. A2s wins .06% of the time, KJo wins .13%…error in my program or what?

  20. graven29 on January 11th, 2008 10:20 am

Tony G is a verbal genius. That is all there is to it. He is one of the best in the world. All you who think he stinks have not followed his career. I have. Pure Genius

  21. pgasean on January 14th, 2008 12:05 am

Really out of line. Tony really should have shown a little more class.

However, I agree that it was a terrible play and more than likley completely influenced by Tony being a dick.

  22. basti on February 4th, 2008 5:08 am

tony g is such a fool,
perry went all-in, which was a brilliant move, because you can’t call that with A,2…
perry made this crazy move, because he knew that tony g had drunk a few alcoholic drinks before. he knew that, because he saw him in a bar before the match began.

    p.s. sorry for my bad english…. ;)

  23. DaveCasey on February 21st, 2008 4:22 pm

I agree, Tong G acted like a dickhead there. However, I don’t think you can judge a player’s character by the way he acts at the table. I’ve seen Phil Hellmuth go off worse than this at another player. I think Poker is the same as any sport……What happens on the field stays on the field.

  24. fear74 on March 16th, 2008 12:24 am

Tony G is not a tight player so I don´t think the call is that bad, but it is still bad… better to trap Tony with a better hand, but easier said than done. In my opinin it was very unprofessional of Tony to give the poor russian such hard time about his bad call. I mean we all make bad plays at some point, and you really don´t need to hear how bad you played!

  25. matt on March 21st, 2008 2:53 pm

I’m pretty sure that if Tony G was talking to me like that no matter how bad the play was and he didn’t get bad beaten I would of laughed at first at him. Then if he kept on sayin outrageous comments like I’m so powerful and I’m the best, your the worst player ever, I think the only way to handle that is to hit him square in the face so he can learn his lesson to shut his fat ass up

Got something to say?
