Ivey Battles Townsend, Wins $133K

Arguably the best player in the world, Full Tilt team member Phil Ivey faced off against top internet pro Brian “sbrugby” Townsend over on Full Tilt table Halbert. With the blinds at $300/$600, Ivey was able to chip away at his opponent taking down the three biggest pots played between the two. Ivey was up over $180K on his opponent and as the heads-up battle was coming up on two hours, Townsend had won back nearly $50K of his losses. That was enough for Ivey to quit the match and booked a nice $133K+ win over Townsend.
