PokerShare has done something that no other poker room has done before. It gives back to its players. PokerShare has established the PokerShare Trust, which receives some of PokerShare’s profits, and in turn, gives them to PokerShare players. A lot of players have joined PokerShare simply because of this rewarding system. Due to the recent U.S. legislation, PokerShare is currently banning American players from 11 different states from playing for real money.

PokerShare’s website has a new look, which is easier to navigate than before. It is very informative, especially since they do a very good job of explaining the complex process of how they share their profits with their players. The website is a bit too flashy and a bit too green, but other than that, it is excellent.

The PokerShare software is functional, as it runs well and is very easy to use. Players can find the game that they wish to play in and jump right in. The graphics are decent, but like the website, have a tendency to be a little too green.

PokerShare’s customer service consists of email support. The email service is quick but they cannot be considered to be serious about customer service until they offer telephone and live chat support.

Competition at PokerShare (5)

Many of the players at PokerShare are loose. This is typical for online play. They see flops with mediocre hands and put themselves in bad positions. Taking advantage of these players can be very profitable.

PokerShare offers these poker games: Texas Holdem, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, Seven Card Stud, Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo, and Five Card Stud.

Real Money Traffic at PokerShare (5)

At PokerShare you will usually see between 1,400 and 1,500 real money ring game players and between 2,000 and 2,500 real money tournament players. A large number of these players prefer to play low limit Holdem.

Online Poker Tournaments at PokerShare (7)

PokerShare offers the regular assortment of tournaments: the sit and gos, the multi-table tournaments, the turbos, and more. PokerShare had some very nice prizes for tournament players this year, since the number one player on the tournament leader board won a WSOP prize package as well as a WPT prize package.

Freerolls at PokerShare (5)

PokerShare offers freerolls that have prize pools between $50 and $100. It can be difficult to place high in these freerolls, but it is a fun and no-risk way to win a little bit of cash.

Stakes at PokerShare (8)

At PokerShare limit games have small stakes of $0.10/$0.20 and high stakes of $200/$400. No limit games have small stakes of $0.02/$0.04 and high stakes of $100/$200. While the stakes that are offered at PokerShare can get pretty high, in reality there are very few players who actually play at these high stakes, so good games are difficult to find.

Players Reward System at PokerShare (9)

Players earn both Frequent Player Points and Share Points when playing in raked hands. Both FPPs and Share Points accrue at the same rate, so if you have played enough to earn 100 FPPs you have also earned 100 Share Points. FPPs may be used to buy in to tournaments, and Share Points are used in PokerShare’s unique system of giving back to its players. Every month PokerShare will give some of its profits to the PokerShare Trust, which will then distribute the money among the PokerShare players, based upon how many Share Points a player has earned in their lifetime. Share Points may also be used to buy PokerShare merchandise.
