Review of Paradise Poker (6.64)
Paradise Poker provides some great poker and does it style with a nice tropical theme and some great special effects. Unfortunately, due to the recent U.S. legislation, Paradise Poker is no longer allowing American players to play for real money.
Layout of Paradise Poker (8)
The Paradise Poker website is quite informative, as news, promotions, tournament info and more are available for your perusal. The Paradise Poker software is very good looking, as it has attractive tropical graphics with a beach, palm trees, and a bright blue sky. The poker tables are very interesting thanks to the special effects. Winning hands burst into flames while the losing hands explode and disappear. Also, when players are eliminated in tournaments, they too explode and disappear.
Customer Service at Paradise Poker (5)
Paradise Poker only offers email support. The response times are good, and the Paradise Poker staff is very knowledgeable. I would prefer more support, such as telephone and live chat, but at least their email support works very well.
Competition at Paradise Poker (5)
At Paradise Poker, the players are typical online poker players. Also, Paradise Poker has a lot of inexperienced players due to all the signups that occurred for their million dollar freeroll. There is money to be made at Paradise Poker.
Games at Paradise Poker (10)
Paradise Poker offers these poker games: Texas Holdem, Seven Card Stud, Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo, Omaha, Omaha Hi Lo, Five Card Draw, Five Card Stud, and Crazy Pineapple Poker. The last three games are very rare online, and I really enjoyed seeing that these choices were available.

Freerolls at Paradise Poker (8)
Paradise Poker has a fair amount of freerolls, but they made big news when they hosted a million dollar freeroll. This was the richest freeroll ever and we might be seeing more such freerolls in the future, whether it be at Paradise Poker or some other poker site.
