Andreas “Skjervoy” Torbergsen has easily accumulated the biggest profit within a 24 hour period this year, earning over $1.2 million from various adversaries.

The newest member of Team Cardrunners was extremely successful last night at the game most established pros to date prefer, Pot-Limit Omaha. The game however, was not always Torbergsen’s game of preference, as when he started as an online player, he was like most of the new breed of poker players, beginning with No-Limit Hold’Em.

Despite where he originated, the Cardrunners pro has transformed his Omaha ability in order to compete with his peers on the high stakes PLO tables on Full Tilt Poker. And compete he has.

Over the past day, Skjervoy has played epic sessions against the red hot cadillac1944, and managed to acquire over $600,000 of his bankroll. In fact, after cadillac1944′s huge session against Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond yesterday afternoon, Torbergsen sat down immediately to see what type of damage he could inflict against the streaking star.

The pair played over 200 hands of $500/$1000 Pot-Limit Omaha uncapped, which has been a new, interesting trend as of late. Many players prefer the game, however the capped version has been the staple for months, as it’s much more math-based, and can be played with less variance and much less capital.

But Andreas Torbergsen was able to convince cadillac1944 to keep playing uncapped PLO, and finally slowed him down. The unknown poker player had been on a massive heater since early this week.

Skjervoy also made time to play a little $300/$600 PLO, in which he took over $228K from the likes of David Benefield, Patrik Antonius, and Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies.

Along the way, he took another $400,000 from various opposition.

Ironically, the only losing session he’s had over the past few days, was when he sat down at his own $50/$100 Pot-Limit Omaha table on Full Tilt Poker. The pro played a 12 hand session, in which he lost a measly $1,700. In perspective, that’s not even a min-raise at the regular $500/$1000 stakes he’s been playing as of late.

Patrik Antonius has been the big villain over the past few days, losing an enormous $921K to several people. This nearly eliminates all of the $1 million he gathered over the weekend at the tables.

IHateJuice, who has been a regular rival of Antonius, gained $459K from the Finn, to be one of the biggest winners last night.

David Benefield also lost a big portion of his online bankroll, with $422K in losses.

Check out a few of the biggest hands from Skjervoy’s sessions below.
