Huck Seed, one of my favorite poker players of all time, outlasted a small field of big names on Sunday in order to win the 2010 WSOP Tournament Of Champions and collect $500,000 in tournament winnings.

The tournament, which was a freeroll (no buy-in) included 27 individually selected pros to compete for a total prize pool of $1,000,000. Huck, who already has 4 WSOP bracelets, one of which being the 1996 Main Event, found himself at  amongst some of the biggest names in the community at the final table but ended up with all the chips after busting Howard Lederer, who moved all in with Qc8c pre-flop with As2s, the board ended up in Huck’s favor – 7s6h6d9s Ah

The Tournament Results:

  1. Huck Seed
  2. Howard Lederer
  3. Johnny Chan
  4. Joe Hachem
  5. Barry Greenstein
  6. Daniel Negreanu
  7. Jennifer Harmen
  8. Annie Duke
  9. TJ Cloutier
