They began with an afternoon three-table game of $500/$1000 PLO on Full Tilt Poker tables Cloverleaf, Neighborly, and Keren Marie where Blom came out on top with a $138K+ win in just over an hour of play. Both players would meet again later that evening around seven hours later to play four tables at $200/$400 blind stakes. Frustrated with his luck, Sahamies requests higher stakes after dropping $55K+ in 90 minutes of action. And so they battled it out at the $300/$600 level where Sahamies would proceed to racked up over $355K in winnings before Blom seemingly ran out of cash. Combining the day’s results showed Sahamies with an overall $161K+ win through 1,778 total hands played against Blom.
