There was quite an ultra high stakes poker battle going down during the late night hours on Full Tilt Poker. The players Phil Ivey and “Isildur1″ met up on tables Itsatarp, Prestonwood, and Diamond Gem to play a three-table battle of $500/$1000 No-Limit Hold’em. They went at it for over two and a half hours as Ivey dominated the match in taking down 13 of the 15 pots played worth $200K or more. That gave Ivey an $827K+ lead as both players agreed to move the action over to tables Breaks, Stony Ridge, and Royal Guard to play some $500/$1000 Pot-Limit Omaha.
That’s were “Isildur1″ would make his comeback as he took down four of the six pots played that were worth $400K or more. That included the 2nd largest pot in online history which came in at $1.128 million. After three hours of PLO action, “Isildur1″ had pulled in over $785K. Adding up both totals would give Ivey the slight edge with a small $41K+ win through 2,571 total heads-up hands of action.
