What Happened Durrrr?!

SocialTwist Tell-a-Friend

tom-dwanIt was just over a month ago when everyone was talking about how Tom “Durrrr” Dwan was sitting on a bankroll that grew a massive $5 million during the year of 2008. However no one is talking about him winning $5 million anymore because just in the month of January alone he has lost a substantial amount of money. If you are sitting there wondering how much exactly was lost at the tables by Durrrr, well lets just say he has lost more then 65% of the $5 million he won last year. The total that Durrrr lost at the tables exceeded $3.5 million and that was just for the month of January  and there is already people predicting that if this keeps up he will not even make it to his challenge that he set.

During the month of January there was a total of 25,218 hands that were tracked and on average Durrrr lost almost $140 per hand. The players that benefited the most from Durrrr and his massive down swing was none other then the two players who are seen playing with him the most and they are Patrik Antonius and Gus Hansen. Everyone knows that Durrrr has a very big bankroll so he can handle this type of month but you have to ask yourself how many months like this can he take before he either has to sell pieces of himself or move down limits.

Knowing Tom “Durrrr” Dwan and his skill with both Pot Limit Omaha and No-Limit Hold Em’ this down swing that he is having will sooner or later turn around and we will start talking about how he is making millions in a months time.

Also just to update the Durrrr Challenge is said to be starting midway through the month of February and the rumor is that Durrrr is going to be playing against David Benyamine first.
