With little action going down on Full Tilt Poker, a couple of high stakes gamblers sat down on tables Ivey and Ivey Mix to play some $500/$1000 Pot-Limit Hold’em/Omaha. One could envision the battle that would take place when Tom “durrrr” Dwan and Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies got it all-in on the very first hand. And then just a few hands later, both players found themselves all-in once again as they played two $200K pots within the first four hands.
It certainly was a swingy match as Sahamies was quickly down $100K on the first hand before coming back to even on the fourth hand. He was then down $275K before fighting back to only minus $90K. He would then fall all they way back down to over $280K before once again chipping back to just $25K in the red. At the end of the 90-minute match, Sahamies was once again down more than a couple of buy-ins. After 335 total hands of action, Dwan had booked an overall $238K+ win over Sahamies.
