It was quite an action packed day on the ultra high stakes HA tables on Full Tilt Poker. The games were mostly heads-up $500/$1000 Pot-Limit Hold’em/Omaha action between high stakes professionals Patrik Antonius and Tom “durrrr” Dwan with plenty of other players joining in at one point or another. Jumping in the most often would be the Great Dane, Gus Hansen as he racked up a$1,072,917.25 win in 814 hands played.
The action started off during the evening an went on into the following afternoon. Antonius was able to collect over $496K after logging in 1,983 hands at the tables. A couple of other six-figure winners were John “world1969″ Hennigan ($171K+) and David “MR B 2 U SON” Benyamine ($113K+). Taking significant losses were Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond (-$128K), Cole South (-$191K), and Phil Ivey (-$324K). But they were all overshadowed by Dwan’s monster donation. Despite actually winning six of the seven largest pots of the night, Dwan would end up with a $1,133,189.40 loss in 2,477 total hands of action.
