Ivey Finishes Off Hawrilenko With $300K Limit Hold’em Win

Back on Full Tilt Poker table Matt Hawrilenko, high stakes players Phil Ivey and Matt Hawrilenko were once again playing an exciting game of heads-up $2000/$4000 Limit Hold’em. This time around, their session went a bit short of two and a half hours as Ivey pulled in seven of the top 11 hands. After 571 total hands, Ivey had racked up another $300K in winnings before Hawrilenko stated his intentions to quit giving Ivey action for the time being. That was probably due to the fact that Ivey had accumulated over one million dollars — $1,047,561.50 in 1,609 hands to be exact — throughout the past four days playing against Hawrilenko.
