Dwan Builds $1.3 Million Stack, Loses Record $723K Hand

The ultra high stakes games on Full Tilt Poker tables RailHeaven on GusHeaven saw some thrilling $500/$1000 No-Limit Hold’em action that went on over a 20-hour stretch. The story of the night would be young gun Tom “durrrr” Dwan’s amazing $1,381,077 stack. The sick part of it all was the fact that Dwan actually ended in the red. That was in part thanks to losing an online record $723K+ hand. That was actually the fourth time the record was broken that night as four $600K+ pots were played in total — Dwan being on the losing end of two of them. Di “Urindanger” Dang, who won the record hand, and Phil Ivey, who was the winner of the second largest hand, also built some monster stacks during the action.

Dang topped off the results with an impressive $670K+ win through 1,618 hands.
