There was sick ultra high stakes poker action going down on Full Tilt Poker table RailHeaven. The fortunate individual running hot throughout the night would be the Finnish gambler Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies. Sitting at the table for almost eight hours, Sahamies would actually cross the million dollar barrier as he managed to build his stack up over $1,115,000 at it’s peak. Through 783 hands of play, Sahamies finished up the night with over $431K in winnings as he finally left the table with an $827K+ stack.
Other six-figure winners for the day would be Phil Ivey ($187K+), “world1969″ ($155K+), and Gus Hansen ($155K+). Emil “whitelime” Patel and “mastrblastr” each took their shot in the game and wound up with $100K losses. David Benyamine also sat in for a couple of hours as he donated over $144K. But the one taking the big hit was god himself, Patrik Antonius. With most of his 456 hands being played heads-up against Sahamies or three handed with Ivey in the mix, Antonius just could not get the cards to fall his way and suffered a significant $531K+ loss.
