Just one day after a wild heads-up battle on Full Tilt Poker table Ivey Thunderdome, high stakes professionals Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies and Phil Ivey were right back at it. The game was $500/$1000 Pot-Limit Omaha and Ivey once again got off the the early lead. Half an hour into the game, however, a $202K pot saw Sahamies rake in Ivey’s initial $100K stake. Unlike previous opportunities, however, Ivey actually rebought for another $100K and the match continued. Not too much longer though as Sahamies made quick work of his opponent and felted Ivey within the next 15 minutes. Taking down six of the top seven hands during the battle, Sahamies cruised to a $200K victory over Ivey.
