Mansion, the popular online gaming operation, has made the announcement that they will be sponsoring the Third Annual British Columbia Poker Championship which will be taking place in Canada this week.
The River Rock Casino Resort, near Vancouver, will be the place to find the Championships. And what will you find inside there and spread all over the felt at the Main Event Final? It is the Mansion logo of course and this can all be seen on Global TV next month when the Championship is aired. This edited version will be two hours long and will show mostly the highlights of the event.

“With hundreds of thousands of dollars being staked over four days of play and the final table action to be aired on Global TV in December, viewers are in for a thrilling couple of hours of poker entertainment.â€
There is an expected prize pool of $3.6 million with $2.45 million of that coming directly from the Main Event. The Championships will be bringing poker players from all over for the chance at the title.
There is a $2,700 buy-in no limit Texas Hold’em tournament that will only allow in 1,000 players. The first prize for this Main Event tourney is $612,500. And don’t worry, each of the players who finish in the top ten percent are guaranteed to leave with some cash prizes.
