“KOMIJIENDO” Drops $145K In Heads-Up Action

It was a bad day for heads-up action on one player’s part. And that player is known as “KOMIJIENDO”. The game was $100/$200 NL Hold’em and his first opponent was high stakes regular “Urindanger”. They battled on four different tables over on Full Tilt Poker for over an hour and a half. At the end of their match, “Urindanger” had raked in over $75K in winnings from his opponent.

“KOMIJIENDO” left the tables only to return about two hours later for some more heads-up action. His opponent this time around was excellent heads-up player “The Gift of Gab”.  This one didn’t even last an hour as “The Gift of Gab” pulled in $70K in winnings. Two opponents, two thousand hands, over two hours of play, and seven buy-ins down the drain by “KOMIJIENDO” for a total $145K+ loss. Read more

Oppenheim On Fire; $95K H.O.R.S.E. Win

Over on Full Tilt table Hatteras, high stakes professional David Oppenheim and the player known as “bacina” were tearing up the $1000/$2000 H.O.R.S.E. game. While Oppenheim managed a sweet $95K+ at the table, “bacina” raked in nearly $100K of his own during his session. High rollers Eli Elezra ($27K+) and Doyle “texdolly” Brunson ($13K+) sneaked in a couple of small wins as well. Arguably the best player in the world, Full Tilt team member Phil Ivey faced off against top internet pro Brian “sbrugby” Townsend over on Full Tilt table Halbert. With the blinds at $300/$600, Ivey was able to chip away at his opponent taking down the three biggest pots played between the two. Ivey was up over $180K on his opponent and as the heads-up battle was coming up on two hours, Townsend had won back nearly $50K of his losses. That was enough for Ivey to quit the match and booked a nice $133K+ win over Townsend. Read more

Hansen Drops $200K In H.O.R.S.E.

Losing hand after hand, Full Tilt team member Gus Hansen wound up donating over $207K in total during the $1000/$2000 H.O.R.S.E. game. Fellow team member David Benyamine was the greatest benefactor in Hansen’s generosity taking home over $87K in winnings. Big Day In Omaha; Benyamine $340K+, Antonius -$360K

Throughout the day, high stakes professional David Benyamine was in and out of the $200/$400 PL Omaha games over on Full Tilt Poker. After nearly 900 hands of play, Benyamine had tallied up over $346K in winnings from his opponents. Also having a solid day was high roller Eli Elezra. Although usually in the H.O.R.S.E. game raking in the chips, Elezra was able to pull in over$127K during his play at the Omaha tables. “KOMIJIENDO” ($85K+) and Nenad “serb2127″ Medic also finished with nice wins.

All the way on the other end of the spectrum was Patrik “Luigi66369″ Antonius who had an off day. One very exciting hand saw Antonius loss a $140K+ pot after Benyamine hit a one-outer to take down the pot with quad Nines over Antonius’ Aces full. In just over two hours of play, Antonius just could not get things started and ended up dropping over $366K in total at the tables.
