Sbrugby Collects a $24,000 Pot From Phil Ivey

At a table with sbrugby, Phil Ivey, and Luigi66369, there was some decent action. Ivey and sbrugby ended up heads up with a preflop raise, and Ivey pulled out on the river when faced with a $21,000 bet. I happened to catch the hand in action and got a clip of each round, as well as the hand history. It’s amazing how these guys can play such a high stake game of poker online sometimes.

Ivey Bounces $40k to $70k in $200/$400 NL Holdem

Phil Ivey was playing in quite a few hands tonight, and playing them well. After building his stack up to nearly $70,000, he was snapped off and drained over the course of just a few hands. Only several hands later he made a nice comeback. However, Phil couldn’t seem to keep up the pace, and lost it all over again.

“Purdue80″ Perfects The Hit’n'Run

With Phil Ivey waiting at the $300/$600 heads-up table on FullTilt as usual, “Purdue80″ decided to sit down and take a shot against the elite professional. After getting up to a quick $45K lead, Purdue80’s lead was quickly shortening as Ivey began to chip away. But before Ivey was able to do any sort of damage, Purdue80 quit playing after just 10 minutes and left with a nice $30K win. About two and a half hours later, Purdue80 came back for another shot in the big game, this time against the feared Patrik “Luigi66369″ Antonius. After Patrik “Luigi66369″ Antonius waited hours for an opponent at the heads-up $300/$600 NL Hold’em table on Full Tilt Poker, Phil Ivey finally sat down to play against the feared hold’em player. But Antonius wisely declined and it was Ivey’s turn to play the waiting game. However, he didn’t have to wait long as successful online pro “OMGClayAiken” decided to sit down with the FullTilt team member. Ivey’s wait actually lasted longer than the match, as a cooler on the first hand quickly had OMGClayAiken down $60K and pondering his decision to sit down in the first place.
