Not a whole lot going on in the high stakes world right now, but I did get the chance to catch a heads up game between the poker players SheFaLLs and Spiked.

When I first logged on to the table, SheFaLLs had $20,300 while Spiked had $95,087.50. A few good hands have gone by, but it remains to be a pretty even game. Here is one of the hands that actually went to showdown. You will notice that SheFaLLs is up about $1100 at the beginning of this hand (from when I logged on at least).

I am not 100% sure why SheFaLLs made the raise that she did preflop, but I would imagine that it was because she was on the button, and was taking control of the table early.

When the flop came, Spiked caught top pair with top kicker, and he was trying his best to lure SheFalls into the hand, or at least find out where he was because SheFaLLs made the preflop raise. He made a regular sized bet in order to see where he was.
However, SheFaLLs noticed that she had flopped an open ended straight draw, so she made a substantial raise of $2000, hoping to either get Spiked to fold or catch a helpful card on the turn and baiting Spiked. Obviously SheFaLLs had no idea that Spiked had flopped top pair, so I would say that she was pretty unlucky to have raised the flop.

When the turn card came a 9, neither Spiked or SheFaLLs were confident that they had the best hand… especially after SheFaLLs crazy raise on the flop. Spiked checked then SheFaLLs checked.

River popped off an Ace, giving Spiked top two pair, yet he still checked. Maybe he was hoping that SheFaLLs would make a desperation bet and he could raise her. However, SheFaLLs also checked through.

By the time that the table broke up, there were lots of players talking in the chat and SheFaLLs had doubled her money to over $42,000.
