Despite losing a quarter-million to Phil Ivey in their Omaha match, Brian “sbrugby” Townsend did not back down from their heads-up $300/$600 NL Hold’em game. It appeared as though Ivey would walk away from the winner from this game as well. Ivey Wins Big In Omaha

In a game that started with with six players at a $200/$400 Pot-Limit Omaha table yesterday afternoon on FullTilt, Phil Ivey found himself one on one against Brian “sbrugby” Townsend. They were going at it at the $300/$600 NL Hold’em table as well. In a heads-up Omaha match that last about an hour, Ivey managed to win over $250k from his opponent before sbrugby finally gave up and focused on the NL Hold’em battle between the two.

Benyamine Rakes Another $85k From Ivey

Last night on FullTilt, Phil Ivey joined David Benyamine at the $1k/$2k Limit Hold’em table for a heads-up session. Benyamine was on a nice card rush and controlled the short match from the beginning. After about 100 hands of play, Benyamine had worked his stack from $40k all the way up to almost $126k. Forcing Ivey to reload three times, Benyamine was able to win over $85k from his opponent before Ivey called it quits for the night.

In a 6-handed $20k buy-in no-limit game yesterday on FullTilt, the ever confrontational Mike “The Mouth” Matusow shared some words with fellow player “MyRenovatio.” Their back and forth trash talking during the game led to some interesting pots.
