Phil “The Poker Brat” Hellmuth decided to play some online poker at Ultimate Bet today. I gotta say, it seems like he has been training writing with keyboard because there was an explanation always when he lost a pot – just like he would be playing live. Normally at this time there could be more traffic, but now it was Phil Hellmuth so many pros came to get their money from him. Well, like on TV, Phil got beat up when he plays cash games.First it was $300/$600 Limit Hold’em. Like you see from this screenshot, he was pretty much lowstack on the table after going through some “bad beats”.
After this he moved to $300/$600 Triple Draw 2-7 and lost about $30,000 there. He complained after every beat, and wanted to play No Limit Hold’em. Well, “surprise surprise”, he lost there too. It was time for Phil Hellmuth to leave.

Mike Matusow finally won a session, congratulations! I think this is very important for Mike and will surely help him to get some confidence back. “The Mouth” played against Helge Larsen heads up, and “Urindanger” came once a while to the table to try his luck.
Mike got left with about $100,000 and on this screenshot he’s already over $90,000. This was $100/$200 NL so 5x buy-in is pretty good!
Hopefully, some day we could see Mike Matusow vs. Phil Hellmuth online. That would be something!

i followed the battle between mike and helge and all i can say is that mike didnt leave the table up that much. both started with the max buy-in, helge won a lot at first (he had about 100k at the table), then started losing it all back (and maybe a little bit more) to mike. all in all, mike may have been up some k. not as bad as his results usually are, but not that good as well, right? lol
