John D’Agostino vs. Ram Vaswani on Full Tilt Poker $1000/$2000 Stud table. They were at $111,000 (D’Agostino) and $88,000 (Vaswani).
15 mins: $120,000 (D’Agostino) and $80,000 (Vaswani).
15 mins: $151,000 (D’Agostino) and $48,000 (Vaswani).
30 mins: After 30 mins they’re still in the exactly same situation. John D’Agostino says that he leaves to a Full Tilt lunch, and says that he’ll be back later.
So that was it for Full Tilt’s game, John wins $50,000, Ram naturally loses $50,000.
——
I was also watching LadBrokes $50,000 Guaranteed $109 buy-in tournament. The final 3 of them were JimPoker, peebo and cyrus.
Prizes;
1.$15,125
2.$9,625
3.$6,325
Final 3 was pretty entertaining to watch as it wasn’t very long. Cyrus came 3rd, peebo 2nd and JimPoker (from Finland) took the 1st place and over $15,000 with it. We arranged an interview with him for tomorrow, we’ll see what happens.
——
Gotta say I miss Prima-Network right now, Full Tilt and B2B-network, they just should get those proper hand-histories.
That’s it, check back later!

High Stakes - July 30th

I saw John D’Agostino vs. Ram Vaswani on Full Tilt $1000/$2000 Stud yesterday. I recorded it and now I’m struggling to open the file but I think I can handle it somehow and let everyone know how the game did go. Unfortunately I was going to sleep so I left the recorder just on and went to sleep. I’ll get the info, I promise.
Well umm.. they’re playing now again! This time I’m going with usual report. BUT, I’ve been thinking about recording some final tables of big tournaments, would this be a good idea? I also got some feedback of asking one of the pro’s to record while they play so people could learn something. This is definitely a thing that I will try to get done.
Now, back to Ram Vaswani vs. John D’Agostino, stacks are Ram with $96,000 and John with $103,000. Expect a full report later, cya!

World Series of Poker = No POKER
July 31, 2006 | Leave a Comment
Sorry everyone, but I gotta blame World Series of Poker for this. There has been absolutely no decent poker today because of the $10,000 buy-in “you-know-what” tournament. Because of that I’d still like to write something, so I might as well clear up some thoughts of the future of this blog.
First of all, I plan to bring a lot of new content here. There will be a lot of interviews, articles and story’s. All of these still have one common thing, that’s high stakes poker.
Second thing is the freerolls which I plan to bring here. My goal is weekly freerolls just for the readers. I offer you a free chance to play in a freeroll, which could potentially make your bankroll bigger. I still hope that if your friend wants to play in it, ask him to get the password from this site. This would be just because of I have a bigger chance to increse the amount of readers.
Thirdly, I demand more feedback. You can put the comments here or send me e-mail . Send whatever, feedback, business suggestions, etc. basically anything that comes in your mind. One thing also that you should let me know about is; Where do you want the freerolls to be held?
That’s it then. Hopefully tomorrow we’ll get something. If not, well, I’ll put something here that you all should like
EDIT: I forgot to write this earlier, but I heard that K_B and Fast_Freddie (both play on Prima, many times heads-up) had a real fight 2 nights ago. I don’t know how it all end up but they should both be fine since they were playing in the next day. This of course happened in Vegas. They’re not best friends yet

High Stakes on Full Tilt
July 31, 2006 | Leave a Comment
I saw some crazy $1000/$2000 Omaha Hi-Lo game on Full Tilt Poker today, between Ram Vaswani from the Hendon Mob, and Luigi66369.
Ram Vaswani was the winner of this session, winning about $200,000. I’ll show you a few bigger pots, and I also show how the stacks were every 10 minutes. Full Tilt hasn’t got a proper hand-history system so I gotta show some pots as pictures, hope it helps. Seriously, every software should get a hand-history system like Prima!
Luigi66369 vs. Ram Vaswani,
Luigi’s stack always comes first, in the beginning the situation was this:
$102,000 vs. $97,000
10 minutes: $71,000 vs. $128,000 and one screenshot of a bigger pot that Ram won;
10 minutes: 3rd player comes in with $30,000 and loses it in a couple of minutes. Luigi went on a little “rush” and stacks were; $99,000 vs. $129,000.
10 minutes: $75,000 vs. $143,000
10 minutes: Ram wins a big pot, $50,000 vs. $168,000 and here’s a screenshot;
10 minutes: $28,000 vs. $190,000
5 minutes: Erick Lindgren joins! He comes with $30,000 and says that he wants to gamble, Ram and Erick also discuss about tomorrow’s possible golf-game. Stacks will go now like Luigi vs. Ram vs. Erick;
10 minutes: $14,000 vs. $220,000 vs. $14,000 (Ram is clearly crushing the game).
5 minutes: Luigi reloads $50,000 and is now sitting with $60,000.
5 minutes: $36,000 vs. $249,000 vs. $12,000.
3 minutes: Erick goes broke and leaves without saying a thing. Stacks are $39,000 vs. $260,000.
10 minutes later Luigi loses and says “gg”. Ram leaves the table with $300,000 which means that he won $200,000 in that session, nice!

Bad_Ip and Zweig are playing on Prima-network right now, on $100/$200 NL table. I have a screenshot of one bluff, everyone now leave feedback of this screenshot situation, do you like it or not?
Here bad_ip bluffs Zweig and shows 6c 9c about 2 seconds after I took the screenshot, that is my luck;
——————–
I’m going out for 30-45 minutes, if they’re still playing I’ll surely report it here. Now, go and look at that game, it’s entertaining.

B2B action + A_Shearer - July 27th
July 31, 2006 | Leave a Comment
Forgive me, I’m getting better on this screenshot ![]()
taking and you all will get more of these in the
future. Now I’m not sure how you’re going to see this screenshot, as a large or a small image, well better next time. That’s a picture of Alan Shearer a.k.a. the soccer player a.k.a. A_Shearer (he must have used a lot of imagination when he came up with that nickname) winning a pot worth of over $21,000!
When I got to the B2B-Network, it seemed like I could do a good report from $100/$200 NL that was running there. It was Tina1 (Tobias Persson) vs. Aplusgame (maybe Prahlad Friedman because Prahlad used this same name on UltimateBet). Tina1 had $100,000 and Aplus had $20,000.
Aplusgame doubled up once and got up to $40,000 (I didn’t see this hand and B2B hasn’t got the hand-histories there so I don’t even know what happened). Only fact is that Aplus doubled up, and unfortunately, the heads-up was boring for the rest of the time. They stopped the game when Tina1 had $75,000 and Aplus $45,000, though Aplus would have loved to continue as you can see from their chatting:
Tina1: gg
Aplusgame: joke
Aplusgame: new you would quit
Tina1: huh?
Aplusgame: gg
Tina1: i told u
Tina1: 1 hour ago
Aplusgame: i just can never get a game going
Aplusgame: with someone with balls
Tina1: sad for u
Aplusgame: gg
Tina1: gg
Aplusgame: didnt see you wanr me
Tina1: play another day
Aplusgame: you warned me?
Tina1: i did
Aplusgame: ok tks
Aplusgame: take care
Tina1: u2
So Tina1 left and now Aplus sits alone in the table, poor him/her.
I had to open Prima of course too, and a decent $50/$100 NL game was going on with players like dazzy (sitting with $12,000), Kris85 (sitting with $17,000) and K_B (sitting with $76,000) accompanied with some other players, game was 6-handed. It seemed like K_B would be the big winner, but you never know (and I certainly didn’t) what happens. This time A_Shearer happened and simply robbed K_B. Here you can see few of the hands they played:
A_Shearer raised for $300
K_B raised for $900
A_Shearer called for $650
The Flop Qs 8c Qd
K_B bet for $1,700
A_Shearer called for $1,700

The Flop 10h Qh Jc
A_Shearer bet for $1,900

A_Shearer wins $5,149
——

A_Shearer called for $2,000
The River 5c
A_Shearer bet for $6,700
K_B called for $6,700
A_Shearer shows a Full House, Sixes full of Fives
A_Shearer wins $19,800
————————————
After that Shearer lost cash to around $14,000, and then came that hand I showed. BUT because I like to mess things up, I messed it up. I have no hand-history for it.. can you believe that? Well, maybe I’m getting better - or not, however I’m trying my best
So as new features, there will be more screenshots, and there will be some great interviews with high stakes players, this is going to be fun!
EDIT:
I heard that Full Tilt had a $1000/$2000 Stud game last night, can’t believe I missed that! Public appoligize for everyone.

Yep, that’s it, not a lot of action. I’m really begging for WSOP to end so we get some decent action
By the way we’re starting to make some interviews with these high stakes players, leave feedback if you have anyone specific in your mind. And if you have other things to say, leave feedback.
Stay Tuned!

-ANTONIUS- vs. Erik123- - July 26th
July 31, 2006 | Leave a Comment
OK, I know I wished that we would see Patrik Antonius playing, and guess what, we did!
On B2B-Network, they were on €50/€100 Pot-Limit Omaha table, and well, I think this wan’t the session that Patrik would have liked to have.
When I started to watch, the situation was following;
-ANTONIUS- with €22,000
Erik123- with €23,000
Patrik lost a little bit in a few pots and was down to €11,000, tried to bluff and that didn’t go very well.
B2B-network doesn’t have a hand-history so I can’t give you the full details, (I’m sorry) but I’ll give you something about how it did go.
Pre-flop Patrik raised about €5,000, Erik called.
The Flop: 844
Patrik goes all-in for €6,780, Erik calls and shows xx84, Patrik shows AKxx.
Rest of the cards were 3 and 8, so Patrik loses a €22,000 pot.
A bit later,
On the flop which was 2Qd8d
-ANTONIUS- goes all-in for €16,847.75
Erik123- calls
The Turn: Td
The River: 4
-ANTONIUS- shows two pairs, queens and eights
Erik123- shows a flush, queen high
Erik123- wins €39,094.75
——
Later, the Flop is AK7
The turn is 6
Erik123- goes all-in for €56,993
-ANTONIUS- goes all-in for €22,914
The river, which I didn’t catch, didn’t matter.
-ANTONIUS- shows two pairs, kings and sevens
Erik123- shows two pairs, aces and kings
Erik123- wins €94,427.25
——
The Flop is K2K, both check
The Turn is J
-ANTONIUS- goes all-in for €14,096.25
Erik123- calls
The River is 4
Erik123- shows a full house, jacks full of kings
-ANTONIUS- shows three of a kind, kings
Erik123- wins (€33,591.75) with a full house, jacks full of
kings
——
One more hand;
The Flop is J96
-ANTONIUS- goes all-in for €13,247.75
The Turn is A
The River is 9
Erik123- shows a full house, jacks full of nines
-ANTONIUS- shows a pair of nines
Erik123- wins €42,694.75
Patrik loses one more buy-in, says “gg” and leaves. On the chat there were a lot of speculation if this really was Patrik. Total loss for him was $160,000 which I consider being pretty big.
Something funny happened in the beginning also, said these following things to Patrik:
NoNeedForName: Patrik is Aki Pyysing a good player?
-ANTONIUS-: lol no
NoNeedForName: pyysing writes 100000s of books and articles but
never win anything himself
-ANTONIUS-: he cant win because he is not playing
———————
OK, that’s about it for today. OH, if someone knows about MartinsPoker’s hand-histories, basically how can you save them, feel free to tell
I know that there is “hand-history options” but it doesn’t save the file for some weird reason. Any help would be appreciated.
Tomorrow, more high stakes!
